Description

• Key Responsibilities of a Mining Administrator:
 Record Keeping and Document Management:
Maintain accurate records of personnel, equipment, and production data.
Manage the filing and archiving of production-related documents.

Data Entry and Reporting:
Input data into systems like SAP, generate reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for mining operations.

Scheduling and Coordination:
Coordinate schedules for mining personnel, equipment maintenance, and other operational tasks.
Assist with scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.

• Procurement and Supply Chain Support:
May be involved in placing orders for supplies, safety equipment, and other materials needed for mining operations.
Assist with managing inventory and ensuring timely delivery.

Payroll and Financial Support:
Assist with payroll processing, data entry for financial transactions, and preparing invoices for customers or contractors.

Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure adherence to relevant mining regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.

• Communication and Liaison:
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing administrative support to managers and other team members.

Other Administrative Tasks:
Perform a variety of other administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, managing emails, and providing general office support.

Requirements

 
 
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or certifications in business administration, office management, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge:
Understanding of mining operations, safety protocols, and industry regulations.

• Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Experience:
2+ YEARS minimum Administrative Experience in Construction or Mining Environment.
Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, SAP)
