Description
- Job Purpose:
To accurately capture, monitor, and manage employee attendance using the
Jarrison Time & Attendance system.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily employee time and attendance via the Jarrison Time system
- Ensure accurate capturing of clock-ins, clock-outs, overtime, and shift schedules
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as missed punches and system errors
- Update work schedules, shift rosters, and leave data in the system
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports for HR and Payroll
- Coordinate with supervisors for attendance approvals and supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate records of leave, absenteeism, and overtime
- Handle timekeeping-related queries from employees
- Always ensure data confidentiality and integrity
- Provide support during payroll processing
- Assist with onboarding and training of staff on clocking procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations
- Perform any other related administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 2–3 years' experience in a similar timekeeping role
- Hands-on experience with Jarrison Time system
- Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Strong administrative, numeric and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Namibian citizenship preferred
- Immediately available
- Residing in Walvis
- Duration of temporary contract: 2 -3 months
- Working hours: 08h00 – 17h00 (Monday to Friday)
