Junior AV Technician & Programmer

The purpose of this Windhoek based Jnr AV Technician & Programmer role is to ensure that installations and programming of equipment and software services on projects are done to the highest standards in a professional, neat and clean manner. That the workmanship and customer service is exceptional & that administrative duties are carried out in a timeously and accurate manner.  In our context this includes overseeing the day-to-day AV Technician & Programmer activities of the business.

Installations & Projects

• Assist with first fixes when required.
• Assist with final fixes after completion of installation.
• Programming of installation.
• Training done with client.
• Handover done with client.

Client Support

• Offer remote support.
• Offer on-site support.
• Offer remote or on-site training.

Technical Department:

• New tech testing & reporting
• Solution Revision / support

Ad Hoc Items:

• To carry out any reasonable request from Leadership.

Minimum skills requirements and qualifications:

• Code B
• Any IT / Programming related certification or qualification will be advantageous.
• Experience with General & Power Tools  necessity
• Experience in AV is advantage
• Microsoft products proficient
• Experience in a programming language.
• Basic Knowledge of IT networking
