Description
Our client in the tourism sector is seeking a Senior Administrator that will be based 75km outside of Windhoek. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Director. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted assistant, ensuring seamless daily operations and supporting the Director in achieving strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support to the Director, including calendar management, scheduling, travel coordination, and correspondence.
- Act as a liaison between the Director and internal departments, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, minutes, and briefing documents as required.
- Assist in project coordination and implementation of directives from the Director’s office.
- Always maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and personal information.
- Monitor and follow up on deadlines, projects, and outstanding issues requiring the Director’s attention.
- Manage and streamline office procedures, filing systems, and documentation for executive-level efficiency.
- Support planning and coordination of meetings, events, and special assignments.
- Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior administrative or executive assistant role.
- Previous experience in Farm management or Lodge Management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general tech literacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Office Management, or related field preferred.
