PDI Inspector

We’re looking for a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Inspector to join our fast-paced automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet our strict quality, safety, and cosmetic standards before being delivered to customers or dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed inspections on new and used vehicles prior to delivery

• Identify and report any defects, damage, or missing parts

• Complete PDI checklists accurately and on time

• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, clean, and fully prepped for handover

• Coordinate with workshop and service teams to resolve issues before delivery

• Install accessories or conduct minor adjustments when required

• Keep accurate records and maintain inspection logs

• Work to tight deadlines while upholding quality standards

• Follow all company procedures and health & safety regulations

• Previous experience in a PDI, automotive technician, or vehicle inspection role.

• Diesel mechanic qualification is essential. 

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Basic mechanical knowledge (ability to identify faults and carry out minor repairs)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A CE driving licence (clean preferred).

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Experience working in a dealership or vehicle preparation centre is an advantage.
