Diesel mechanic

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our vehicle servicing and repair team. You’ll be working on a range of diesel-powered vehicles, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to keep our fleet and customer vehicles running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults on diesel vehicles (cars, vans, or light commercials)

• Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and safety checks

• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical or electrical faults

• Replace and repair worn or damaged parts (e.g. engines, clutches, brakes, fuel systems)

• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards

• Accurately complete job cards, service reports, and records

• Communicate clearly with the service advisor team on issues, delays, or parts needed

• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

• Qualified diesel mechanic.

• Proven experience working on diesel vehicles in an automotive environment

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, and diagnostics

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• driving license (preferably clean)
