QA & QC Inspector

We are seeking experienced QA Inspector and QC Inspector (Senior, Level II) professionals to join our client's team on major mining and construction projects in Namibia. These positions are vital to ensuring all project activities meet international quality standards, codes, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities (QA & QC)

• Develop, review, and implement project quality plans, procedures, and standards.
  Conduct inspections on welding, fabrication, and construction activities.
• Perform and/or review non-destructive testing.
• Verify compliance with international codes and client/project specifications (AWS, ASME, ISO, API).
• Review welding procedures, welder qualifications, and NDT reports.
• Identify non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, QA & QC documentation, and support audits.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and mentor junior staff where required.
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

• Recognised Level II NDT certification (SAIW, ASNT, PCN, or equivalent).
• Valid welding inspection certification: CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or SAIW Welding Inspector.
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in QA/QC roles on mining, construction, or heavy engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
• Proven ability to prepare reports, conduct audits, and maintain documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
