Description

This is a high-impact position focused on driving new business, retaining existing merchants, and building strong relationships within the Namibian market. We’re looking for someone with a proven sales track record, ideally with experience in payments, fintech, or banking. You’ll need to be strategic, persuasive, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new merchant accounts across Namibia.
  • Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Relationship Building: Engage with stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and promote tailored solutions.
  • Market Insights: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans aligned with overall business goals.
  • Reporting: Deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the leadership team.
  • Product Expertise: Gain deep knowledge of the company’s payment solutions to effectively communicate value.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client support.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities meet relevant industry regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience, with a solid history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in payments, fintech, or banking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a remote team setup.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Namibia.
