Description
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities and improve operational procedures across all departments. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflows, manage key operational metrics, and contribute to the long-term strategic planning of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the business and ensure goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Manage, train, and develop team members to optimize performance and productivity.
- Monitor and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse performance data and use insights to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage supply chain, inventory and logistics.
- Implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead and support key projects and initiatives related to growth and optimization.
- Report on operational performance to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in warehousing and logistics.
- Proven experience managing a team of 20+ delivery and warehousing staff.
- Solid background in logistics coordination, vehicle maintenance etc.
- Exceptional work ethic with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- High attention to detail and the ability to act with urgency in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and active listening abilities.
