Description
Developing detailed designs.
- b) Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections.
- c) Preparing and implementing project plans.
- d) Researching and providing estimates for projects.
- e) Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
- Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory Compliance.
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
- Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs Undertaking complex calculations
- Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractor
- k) Compiling job specifications and supervising tendering procedures D Resolving design and development problems
- m) Managing budgets and project resources
- n) Scheduling material and equipment purchase and deliveries
- o) Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
- p) Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
- q) Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
- r) Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
- s) Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
- t) Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
- b) Registration/Licensure as a professional engineer is a MUST.
- c) A minimum of 5 years of industry knowledge may be strongly desired.
- d) Excellent Knowledge project management software and design software, such as Primavera Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation is a MUST
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- a) Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
- b) Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
- c) Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
- d) Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
- e) Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time
