Conduct routine maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and machinery, including inspections, oil changes, and fluid checks.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
Repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring and computerized controls.
Perform welding and fabrication work when required.
Order parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Accurately document repairs and parts usage.

Proven proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Experience using diagnostic tools and software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Minimum of 5 – 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program will be an advantage.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to provide relief for other team members operating plant or driving trucks, in line with skills, competence, and licenses held.
Willingness to carry out any other reasonable instructions as required
