Description

Our client is seeking an energetic and driven Marketing Coordinator with a strong foundation in marketing strategy, digital content management, and brand communication. Design experience will be considered a significant advantage, supporting visual elements across campaigns, platforms, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will manage the company website content, social media platforms, marketing campaigns, promotional kiosk banners, and assist in strengthening the overall brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Manage and update website content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Create, schedule, and manage social media content to increase engagement and audience growth.
  • Develop content plans showcasing marketing activities, promotions, and visual communication schedules.
  • Conduct market research on competitors, consumer trends, and digital best practices.
  • Monitor marketing analytics to report on campaign performance and propose optimizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across platforms.
  • Support the creation of print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, social media graphics, email campaigns, and kiosk banners.
  • Assist in modifying and improving existing marketing materials to enhance quality and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date on marketing trends, digital tools, and content best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously.

Preferred Design Advantage:

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop visual marketing concepts.
  • Contribute to the creation of visually appealing designs aligned with target audience needs.
  • Maintain awareness of design trends and principles to enhance content quality.
  • Energetic, proactive, and eager to learn through on-the-job training.

Requirements

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction while working independently when required.

Minimum requirements for the position:

  • 1–2 years of relevant marketing experience (digital marketing, content creation, campaign coordination).
  • Experience in design programs such as Figma, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop (advantageous).
  • Grade 12 NSSCO/NSSCAS certificate (PASS).
  • Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and content planning platforms (advantageous).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing marketing projects and/or design work (preferred).
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans; additional local languages are an advantage.
