Description
Our client who is an international freight forwarder is seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations and Business Development Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational efficiency while identifying and driving new business opportunities to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
• Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost control
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics
• Coordinate logistics, procurement, and resource planning
• Improve workflows and eliminate operational bottlenecks
Business Development
• Identify new markets, clients, and partnership opportunities
• Prepare business proposals, tenders, and contracts
• Lead negotiations and close deals
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis
Strategic Support
• Support executive leadership with business planning and growth strategies
• Prepare performance reports and forecasts
• Align operational capabilities with business expansion goals.
Requirements

Qualifications:
• Degree in business administration
• At least 2 years experience in the field of logistics, or freight forwarding
