Farm Foreman

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Farm Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily farm operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing labour, implementing cattle and crop production programs, and ensuring the efficient functioning of farm activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Plan and execute daily farm tasks, including planting, harvesting, and livestock care (feeding, breeding, health monitoring).
• Supervision: Assign tasks to Labourers, manage schedules, and mentor staff and seasonal workers.
• Maintenance: Oversee or perform repairs on farm equipment, machinery, fences, and buildings.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and biosecurity protocols.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of animal health, crop yields, and daily activities.

• 5 years in agricultural production or as a farm worker.
• Understanding management of cattle and crop programs. Proficiency in operating and repairing farm machinery (tractors, implements and tools).
• Ability to supervise farm workers, make independent decisions, and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with management and workers.
