Description
Our Client are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Store Manager to join our small, dynamic team. This role is designed for a professional who excels at the intersection of operational efficiency and brand atmosphere. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, adaptable individual who enjoys maintaining seamless back-end systems while remaining active and engaged on the shop floor. Whether optimizing internal processes or supporting the daily energy of our retail environment, your focus will be on ensuring operational excellence and providing consistent support to the wider team.
The Role
- Customer Service: Greeting and helping customers with warmth.
- Sales & Tech: Processing sales on our POS system and handling basic tech tasks (like fixing the Wi-Fi or setting up a printer).
- Stock & Orders: Managing inventory, receiving deliveries, and packing/shipping online orders.
- Office Support: Handling light admin like newsletters, filing, and formatting documents.
- Store Care: Helping with shop displays and small projects.
Requirements
- At least 3 -5-year eexperience in retail, sales, and stock control.
- Confidence using computers, POS systems, and inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and great people skills.
- A friendly, "can-do" attitude—you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
Bonus Points
- Experience with websites or e-commerce.
- A driver’s license and your own car.
- A Palaeophilist would be an ideal candidate.
