Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bank Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in bank reconciliations, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to manage high-volume financial data with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.

Review, verify, and reconcile financial transactions and statements.

Maintain accurate financial records in line with internal controls and audit requirements.

Prepare and update Excel reports, using formulas, pivot tables, and data validation tools.

Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and provide resolution in a timely manner.

Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.

Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (or equivalent).

Proven experience in bank reconciliations within a financial or accounting environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Good understanding of accounting principles.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and administrative skills.
