Broce Broom Operator (Road Construction )

Now Hiring: Experienced Broce Broom Operator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Broce Broom Operator with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in road construction. The ideal candidate will be immediately available and able to operate broom/sweeper equipment to prepare road surfaces for paving and sealing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Broce Broom (or similar sweeper) on construction and maintenance sites

• Sweep and clean roadways, job sites, and shoulders before paving/sealing

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on the broom unit

• Safely maneuver around crews, heavy machinery, and traffic

• Communicate with site supervisors and crew to ensure efficient workflow

• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating a Broce Broom or road sweeper in construction

• Strong knowledge of road construction practices

• Ability to work in a team environment and under minimal supervision

• Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious

• Ability to read and follow instructions and work orders

Certifications & Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)

• Construction safety card (e.g., OSHA, CSCS, or equivalent)
