Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to drive growth within our Talent Acquisition division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and ensuring the company qualifies for and successfully submits recruitment tenders—particularly in the executive recruitment space. This role requires a proactive individual with proven experience in sales, tender management, and strategic networking, who thrives in a target-driven environment and is motivated by commission-based rewards. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the recruitment and talent acquisition market.
- Actively network with industry professionals, corporate clients, and public-sector representatives to build strong relationships and generate leads.
- Research, prepare, and submit tender documents and proposals for recruitment and executive search services.
- Ensure all compliance requirements for tender submissions are met (including company documentation, references, capability statements, and supporting materials).
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- Maintain a robust client pipeline through consistent follow-ups and relationship management.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to align business development initiatives with service delivery.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and business forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify opportunities for growth.
- Report regularly on sales performance, client engagement, and tender outcomes.
Requirements
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Development, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably within the recruitment or HR services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Hands-on experience in tender submissions, including document preparation and compliance management.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and results orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Must be open to a commission-based remuneration structure in addition to a basic salary.
