Description

Our client, a Telecommunications Infrastructure specialist, is currently in the process of shortlisting candidates for the position of CEO. This role is critical due to local operational growth and the need to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within an international group structure.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Lead organizational communication with the board of directors, shareholders and internal stakeholders
  • Build relationships with public stakeholders, government entities, and regulators
  • Oversight of the procurement function
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization
  • Responsible for human resources and related processes
  • Proactive communication with the board of directors
  • Identify and address business risks and challenges
  • Implement strategic plans in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Budget oversight and tracking
  • Develop and maintain the company’s culture and vision

Operational responsibilities:

  • Direct oversight of Engineering for implementation, commissioning and maintenance of active fiber network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with finance team on cash flow projections and financial management reporting
  • Strategic project development and deployment planning
  • Set annual and quarterly strategic goals
  • Manage relationships with key internet service providers and backhaul providers
  • Develop and manage a functional Network Operations Center (NOC) and related processes
  • Oversee project-related milestones and operational risk mitigationet
  • Manage regulatory compliance
  • Recruitment and management of all staff
  • Prepare Board Reports and stakeholder reporting
  • Manage Monthly Report submission to capital partners
  • Coordinate company sales function related to infrastructure

Requirements

Experience required:

  • Large-scale infrastructure management experience
  • Senior management experience
  • Strong engineering or ICT sector background
  • Financial budget planning and management experience
  • MBA or similar qualification preferred
