Chipspreader Assistant (Road Construction )

We’re Hiring: Chip Spreader Assistant (3+ Years Experience)

A reputable road construction company is looking for a motivated and reliable Chip Spread Assistant to support the Chip Spread Operator on surface dressing and chip seal projects. If you have 3 years of experience in road construction and are ready to start immediately, this is your chance to join a skilled and safety-driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chip Spreader Operator with daily setup and operation

• Help ensure proper material loading and even distribution

• Monitor equipment and communicate effectively with the crew

• Maintain a clean and organized work area around the spreader

• Follow safety procedures and traffic management guidelines

• Perform basic checks and assist in routine maintenance

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in road construction or surface treatment

• Familiarity with chip spreading processes is an advantage

• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments

• Reliable and safety-conscious attitude

• Ability to take direction and work under minimal supervision

Certifications & Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (preferred)

• Construction safety card (e.g., OSHA, CSCS, or equivalent) preferred
