Description

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure that the company operates in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role involves assessing risks, developing compliance programs, conducting training, monitoring activities, and providing guidance to management and staff on compliance issues.

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company’s compliance.

  • Policy Development:
    Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

  • Training & Communication:
    Assist in training new front line assistants.
    Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees across all levels of the organization.

  • Auditing & Monitoring:
    Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and identify potential areas of vulnerability. Auditing of transactions.

  • Reporting:
    Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, detailing compliance activities, risks, and recommended actions.

  • Incident Management:
    Investigate compliance violations or ethical concerns, work with legal or HR as necessary, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and risk management principles.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

  • Drivers License is an advantage.
