Apprentice Diesel Technician

• Identifying mechanical and electrical issues by using diagnostic equipment.
• Performing routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations and brake repairs.
• Overhauling or repairing diesel engines ,including replacing parts such as pistons, bearings and gaskets.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, starters and alternators.
• Welding and fabrication.
• Record keeping.
• Adhering to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Artisan mechanical qualifications (N3 Level).
• Valid drivers license.
• Minimum 1-3 years experience.
