English–Mandarin Translator / Interpreter/

We are seeking a skilled English–Mandarin Translator/Interpreter to support daily communication on a mining site. The successful candidate will ensure smooth and accurate communication between English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking teams, helping maintain efficient operations without language barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate verbal and written translation between English and Mandarin.

• Interpret conversations during meetings, safety briefings, and daily operational discussions.

• Assist with communication between local staff and Chinese management.

• Translate documents, safety procedures, reports, and operational instructions.

• Support daily site communication to ensure work activities proceed without misunderstandings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an English–Mandarin translator/interpreter.

• HSK Level 4 graduate or higher in Mandarin proficiency.

• Relevant qualification in translation, linguistics, Chinese language studies, or a related field.

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).

• Experience working in mining, construction, or industrial environments will be an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work on-site and work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of technical or mining terminology.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple communication tasks.
