Farm Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated and driven Farm Manager to oversee daily farming operations and support the long-term growth of the farm. This role presents a unique opportunity to manage livestock, crops, and large-scale wood/charcoal production, while contributing to expansion initiatives such as crop production and trophy hunting.

Current Farming Operations:

• Cattle herd: 450–600 head
• Sheep and goats (small scale)
• Hay bales (small scale)
• Wood production (large scale)
• Charcoal production (small scale)

Planned Expansion Areas:

• Scaling up sheep farming
• Expanding grasslands and hay production
• Increasing charcoal and wood production
• Agriculture / crop production
• Trophy hunting

Requirements:

• Proven management experience in farming or related operations
• Ability to manage and lead a workforce of 50–60 staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to honesty, respect, and animal welfare
• Ownership of a hunting rifle
• Basic administrative skills (Word, Excel, OneDrive, scanning)
• Ability to oversee infrastructure upkeep and expansion
• Knowledge in orchard upkeep
• Background in livestock care (cattle, sheep, horses, etc.)
• Basic mechanical skills (advantageous)
