Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Assistant on behalf of  our client, to support the finance department with daily administrative and accounting duties. The ideal candidate will assist with financial record keeping, data entry, budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Accounts

  • Posting of all purchases.
  • Reconciliation of Supplier accounts on regular basis.
  • Stock Control and reconciling purchase orders for all Suppliers in terms of operational activities (fuel, vehicle spares, cleaning products for wash bay, tyres, etc.)
  • Cost control, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Driver Trips

  • Scrutinizing all Driver Recons in terms of Fuel and funds spent.
  • Posting of all Driver Trips.
  • Reconciling the Driver accounts on a regular basis.
  • Enforcing policies and procedures as instructed by Head Office in terms of logbooks and daily driver trips.

Client Recons

  • Processing of Client recons as instructed by Head Office.

Monthly Processing

  • Bi-monthly processing of all bank accounts.

Camping Kitchen & Laundry

  • Supervising these departments.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are met in terms of stock control for these departments.
  • Ensuring timeous orders to SA Office for relevant stock needed.
  • Issuing purchase orders timeously to maintain the correct stock levels.

Human Resources

  • Processing of monthly employee Binary City Clockings.
  • Arranging interviews, background checks, etc. as instructed by HR Manager.

 Assistant

  • Full support function to HR & Finance Manager.
  • Ad-hoc duties as instructed.
  • Run the Office effectively when Manager on leave.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate
  • Accounting Diploma
  • Proven Computer Literacy in terms of Pastel and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken, written)
  • Accute attention to details and accuracy
  • Ability to focus and work under pressure, both independently and as part of the team
  • Dependability, reliability and unequivocally trustworthy
  • Strong ethical and moral compass
