Description
- Lead and inspire the FOH team in daily service.
- Assign team sections to ensure complete floor coverage.
- Foster warm and professional interactions with guests.
- Address feedback and resolve issues with care and professionalism.
- Coordinate service timing with the kitchen.
- Monitor table turnover, POS utilization, and payments.
- Ensure hygiene, ambience, and service flow are maintained.
- Handle cash-ups, shift reports, and closing procedures.
Additional Duties:
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate beverages, and assess ordering needs.
- Support special promotions and events and create Happy Hour experiences.
- Conduct pre-service briefings and debriefs.
Requirements
- Remain calm under pressure, even during busy service times.
- Present with confidence while maintaining a humble approach.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Afrikaans or local languages is an advantage.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in leadership roles (FOH supervisory).
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, wine, and Italian-style service.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and respectful in tone and execution.
- Available on weekends and public holidays.
