Description

  • Lead and inspire the FOH team in daily service.
  • Assign team sections to ensure complete floor coverage.
  • Foster warm and professional interactions with guests.
  • Address feedback and resolve issues with care and professionalism.
  • Coordinate service timing with the kitchen.
  • Monitor table turnover, POS utilization, and payments.
  • Ensure hygiene, ambience, and service flow are maintained.
  • Handle cash-ups, shift reports, and closing procedures.

Additional Duties:

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
  • Monitor stock levels, rotate beverages, and assess ordering needs.
  • Support special promotions and events and create Happy Hour experiences.
  • Conduct pre-service briefings and debriefs.

Requirements

  • Remain calm under pressure, even during busy service times.
  • Present with confidence while maintaining a humble approach.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Afrikaans or local languages is an advantage.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in leadership roles (FOH supervisory).
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, wine, and Italian-style service.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and respectful in tone and execution.
  • Available on weekends and public holidays.
