Description
Africa Personnel Services, on behalf of its client, is looking for a Human Resources Assistant in the oil and gas industry. The HR Assistant will act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries on a day-to-day transactional administration, ensuring excellent service delivery and compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
⚓ Core Responsibilities
Support the entire employee life cycle (after recruitment, during development and mobility, day to day, and in exit procedures).
Maintenance and update of HR systems, namely SuccessFactors and SAP to ensure the accurate reflection of HR records (joiners, leavers and changes).
Supporting the maintenance of onboarding guides and internal procedures in term of service level agreements, checklists and metrics.
Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the service centre.
Generate HR reports and assist with data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure compliance with labour laws aligned with each location aligned with local HR.
Requirements
Extensive Industry Experience: Previous experience in an HR administrative or shared services role preferred (5+ experience). Proficiency in excel and experience in reporting on key metrics. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good level of English, both written and oral (essential).
Management Experience: Knowledge and experience in HR processes and procedures.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business Administration, or a related field.
