Description
Our client is looking for a Independent Sales Contractor to increase market share in Namibia. This person will help to build a brand in the retail market. The ideal candidate should excel in cold calling and have a proven track record of closing deals through effective communication and persuasive selling techniques. Primary Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Analysis:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product visibility.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to adjust product placement and promotional strategies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales efforts and make recommendations for improvements.
Customer Interaction:
- Engage with store staff and customers to gather feedback and provide support on product-related inquiries.
- Address any sales or product-related issues that arise and offer solutions.
Product Placement and Display:
- Travel throughout the whole Namibia to retail locations to ensure consistency in sales standards.
- Implement seasonal or promotional displays as directed by the company.
Travel and Logistics:
- Plan and organize travel itineraries to visit assigned locations efficiently.
- Manage travel expenses and adhere to company policies regarding travel and reimbursement.
Market Research and Reporting:
- Conduct market research to understand local customer preferences and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback on market conditions and customer insights to help shape future sales strategies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with store managers, merchandising teams, and marketing departments to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with other traveling sales agents or field teams to ensure cohesive strategies and execution.
Requirements
Skills:
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and merchandising principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, especially in managing multiple locations.
- Ability to analyze sales data and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using retail software, tools, and reporting systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and own car is a MUST.
- A degree or diploma in sales or marketing preferable.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work environments.
- Extensive travelling is required.
- Experience in the hardware industry will be an advantage but not compulsory. (Training will be done).
- A young professional with a heart and passion for sales that is eager to increase his/her own portfolio.
Remuneration:
- Fuel and basic car services provided.
- All travel expenses will be covered.
