Description
We are seeking a Junior Admin / Bookkeeper Support employee on behalf of our client, reporting to the Bookkeeper. The position will be responsible for assisting bookkeeping in administrative and support bookkeeping environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in capturing invoices, receipts, and payment transactions.
• Support daily bookkeeping tasks and data entry in accounting systems.
• Help maintain organized filing systems for all finance-related documents.
• Perform basic bank and petty cash reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and supplier payments.
• Assist with payroll documentation and staff reimbursements.
• Prepare supporting schedules for month-end reports.
• Provide administrative support to the finance and management teams.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling financial data.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or currently studying).
• 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or
Pastel).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and time management abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the finance function.
