Description
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Logistics Officer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will support daily logistics operations and ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records
- Support stock control, receiving, storage, and dispatch processes
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments
- Assist with preparing logistics reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide general administrative support within the logistics department

Requirements
- Grade 12 / NSSC or equivalent qualification
- Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field will be an added advantage
- 1–2 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environment (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
