Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with a background in culinary arts or hospitality who has a passion for food, teamwork, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work areas in line with health & safety standards.

• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as required.

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.

• Support with dishwashing and general kitchen duties.

• Ensure smooth workflow during service hours.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, culinary, or hospitality environment.

• Hospitality or culinary qualification will be an added advantage. 

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.

• Physical stamina to handle fast-paced kitchen duties.
