Mechanic

We’re Hiring: Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (5+ Years Experience)

A leading civil and road construction company is looking for a skilled and experienced Earthmoving Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a fleet of heavy machinery used on-site. If you're immediately available and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs on earthmoving equipment (graders, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, etc.)

• Conduct scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and inspections

• Perform field repairs and breakdown support as needed

• Maintain service records and parts usage

• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy-duty or earthmoving mechanic

• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, transmissions, and undercarriage systems

• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently

• Physically fit and capable of working in field conditions

• Basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus

Certifications & Qualifications:

• Relevant mechanical trade certification (heavy vehicle or plant mechanic)

• Valid driver’s license (HR/MR preferred)

• Construction safety card (e.g., OSHA, CSCS, or equivalent)
