Description
We are looking for a Project Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects. Working closely with project managers and teams, the Project Administrator ensures that project documentation is accurate, timelines are maintained, and communications are clear and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with permitting processes and site access controls (e.g. induction register, MEFT Park Permits, MME Restricted Area Permit – RAP application coordination and tracking).
- Liaise with the project manager regarding supplier invoice submissions to the finance officer.
- Coordinate logistics (transport, accommodation, etc.) for sub-contractors when required.
- Implement CSR initiatives and liaise with the local community and authorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must have own mode of transport between the Lüderitz office and local stakeholders (pre-approved expenses will be covered via petty cash).
Requirements
Typical Qualifications: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in

- Business/Public Administration
- Community Development
- Valid driver’s license
- 2–3 years relevant experience
Duration & Conditions:
- Based in Lüderitz for a minimum of 6 months
- 14-day notice period
- Working hours: 08h00–17h00, Monday to Friday (mainly office-based)
- Occasional site visits may be required
