Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and contracts for construction projects.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning to ensure projects are financially viable.

Monitor project costs and provide regular reports on financial status and forecasts.

Manage procurement processes, including obtaining quotations and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.

Assess and value variations and changes to contracts.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve any cost-related issues.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements relating to contracts and construction.

Conduct risk analysis and advise on cost implications.

Manage final accounts and ensure timely payments to contractors and suppliers.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project costs.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Proven 8-10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contract law.

Proficiency in cost estimating and project management software.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Contract Duration: 18 months
