Description

Our Client are seeking a poised and professional Salon Receptionist to join our high-end team. You will be responsible for managing front-of-house operations with elegance and efficiency, ensuring every guest receives world-class service. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Hospitality: Greet every client warmly by name, offer premium refreshments, and escort them to their designated station.
  • Expert Scheduling: Manage complex bookings and cancellations using salon management software to optimize stylists' calendars and minimize wait times.
  • Inquiry Management: Professionally handle high-volume calls, emails, and social media inquiries, providing detailed information on specialized luxury treatments and pricing.
  • Seamless Transactions: Process payments, manage gratuities, and issue receipts with total accuracy.
  • Retail & Upselling: Confidently recommend premium retail products and upsell additional services or memberships to enhance the client's experience and salon revenue.
  • Atmosphere Maintenance: Ensure the reception and waiting lounge remain immaculate, curated, and guest-ready always.
  • Team Coordination: Act as a "radio tower" for team communication, alerting stylists to client arrivals and managing schedule shifts.
  •  Promotional Support: Partner with the Marketing department to streamline salon promotions, utilizing Fresha’s centralized messaging tools and CRM capabilities to maintain consistent brand communication with our clientele.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in high-end reception, hospitality, or a luxury retail environment.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and grace.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with hands-on experience with POS and salon booking systems.
  • Presentation: Polished, professional appearance consistent with a luxury brand image.
  • Logistics: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain high attention to detail.
