Description
The Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates for driver and forklift operator positions. The role requires a clear understanding of the organization's staffing needs, proactive sourcing through multiple channels, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. The Recruiter ensures candidates are well-suited to both the role and company culture while providing a professional and efficient experience for applicants and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment
- Recruiting drivers and forklift operators.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates with the required skills and experience.
- Conduct reference checks.
- Conduct candidate interviews.
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions.
- Prepare employment contracts and other necessary documents for new recruits.
- Collaboration and Candidate Experience
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, and provide regular progress updates, and address recruitment-related concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining positive relationships with candidates, including those not selected.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruitment or in-house training.
