Stock Controller- Engineering

The Stock Controller will be responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet customer and business demands. This role involves maintaining accurate stock records, conducting regular stock takes, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring stock is stored and rotated correctly.

Responsibilities: 

• Numbering shelves, reading in stock and packing stock according to bin numbers.

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.

• Perform regular stock checks and audits.

• Record stock movements using inventory management systems.

• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.

• Ensure proper storage and labeling of stock items.

• Assist in forecasting demand to avoid overstocking or stockouts.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.

• Generate inventory reports and provide analysis to management.

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Any related qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory control is advantageous. 
• 3-5 year's experience proven experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory, or similar role.
• Excel proficient and computer literate.
• Technical and engineering background.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
