Description
- Welcome guests warmly, confidently, and with a smile.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve drinks, including the Italian spritzes, wine, beer, and cocktails.
- Deliver dishes promptly while paying attention to detail and timing.
- Maintain spotless tables and perfect setups.
- Assist with menu recommendations and promote desserts, specials, and drinks.
- Handle payments accurately and responsibly.
- Support the team during busy periods with flexibility and positive energy.
Additional Contributions:
- Bar preparation (mise in place, restocking, cleaning).
- Checking menu and table setups before and during service.
- Opening and closing front-of-house duties.
- Maintaining outdoor seating areas in a tidy and guest-ready condition.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Afrikaans or local languages is a significant plus.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Composed under pressure, friendly to guests, supportive to coworkers.
- Availability during weekends and holidays.
